Tommy Heffernan
CEO/FOUNDER OF TEMPO FOOTBALL ACADEMY
Tommy leads the overall vision and direction of Tempo Football. With a passion for player development and innovation in grassroots football, he oversees all departments to ensure Tempo continues to deliver elite-level opportunities and experiences to young players across Ireland and beyond.
Kellie Doran
CFO & Co-Founder
Kellie handles the financial and operational backbone of the academy, from managing budgets and overseeing international tours to supporting academy logistics across all regions. Her work ensures the Tempo model remains strong, sustainable, and scalable.
Tom Foody
Programme Director & Head of Education
Tom is responsible for the full design and structure of Tempo’s football programmes and also oversees the educational side of our full-time Football & Education pathway. Holding an MSc in Education and a BSc in Sports and Exercise Science, he ensures that our players not only grow on the pitch, but also in the classroom—preparing them for life on and off the field.
Daniel Molloy
Academy Manager
Daniel oversees the daily operations and standards across all Tempo centres, supporting coaches, players, and parents throughout the academy journey. He holds a UEFA A Licence, a UEFA A Youth Elite Licence, and a BSc in Sports Management and Coaching. Daniel also brings valuable experience from the National League system as Head Coach of Treaty United U20s, ensuring our academy maintains a clear link between grassroots development and senior-level football.
Dylan Doona
Head of Athletic Development & Cork Centre Lead
Dylan oversees all athletic performance programming at Tempo, with a focus on speed, strength, mobility, and football conditioning. He holds a BSc in Coaching and Performance Management and an MSc in Strength and Conditioning. Dylan also leads our Cork-based Football & Education programme and is the current U17s Coach at Kerry FC, bringing top-tier academy insights to our players.
Lee Moore
Head Coach Cork & Pre-Academy Manager
Lee leads the development of our youngest players across Cork through our Pre-Academy pathway. With a BSc in Physical Education and Irish Teaching and a UEFA B Licence, Lee is also the Head Coach of Cork City U14s, ensuring that Tempo players receive pro-level coaching from day one.

Many of our staff hold UEFA licences, university degrees, and specialist training in coaching, education, sports science, and athletic performance.
